In the 19th century, there was an epidemic of yellow fever in Spain. The inhabitants of Ruiloba entrusted themselves to the Virgin of Los Remedios and made a promise to make a pilgrimage to the Virgin of La Caridad in Udías. As a result, the festival of "El Mozucu" was born. Every September 9th, a great festival is celebrated that unites the municipalities of Udías and Ruiloba.
